The VTO Series Temperature Controller provides precision temperature control from an economically affordable and reliable unit. This temperature control unit circulates thermal fluid to provide stabilized process temperatures to 400°F. Perfect for applications such as plastics and rubber molding, diecasting, and other processes that require elevated operating temperatures.
The VT Series Temperature Controller circulates thermal fluid to provide precise temperature control to 400°F. Stainless steel cabinetry offers attractive appearance, while pumps, cylinders, contactors, valves and instruments are built for long term service and minimal maintenance.
A custom electronic microprocessor based controller includes power, pump, heat and cool "ON" indicator lights. Large and easy-to-read digital temperature display and setpoint dial selector complete the instrumentation package.
The unit's cylinder is mounted directly to the pump casing and includes a stainless steel heater sheath as well as ungrounded Type "J" thermocouple and flange mounted heater.
The horizontal centrifugal pump has water-cooled pump seals to prolong the life of the pump, while the pump motor has a stainless steel shaft, brass impeller with carbon/niresist shaft seal and custom cast pump housing that accepts heating and cooling cylinders.
Safety features include a water supply pressure switch, motor overload protection, and dual high temperature limits.
The optional heat exchanger provides cooling for the process fluid.
